Holding Space Through Life’s Crossroads

These transitions from puberty, mid-life to menopause and beyond are the gateways and crossroads of life. They can bring significant change and transformation, which may feel physically and emotionally unsettling or overwhelming. Acupuncture can help ease some of the burdens of the symptoms that may arise. Treatment provides a gentle but effective inquiry into the parts of ourselves that are out of sync, in need of loving care or deep release.

Because true healing follows the body's natural rhythms, my work with women often takes place over several months. This allows us to nourish the system deeply and ease the burdens of symptoms as they arise, creating a long-term foundation for wellbeing.

Women’s Health: Honouring the Cycles of Change

At the heart of my practice is the recognition that a woman’s health is not static—it is a series of cycles. These unique ebbs and flows of yin and yang directly correspond to the Five Elements, making this ancient modality a natural way to resolve imbalances that manifest as physical or emotional disharmony.

To be in sync with these cycles is to truly feel like ourselves. In Chinese medicine, the Five Elements reflect the rhythms of the menstrual cycle and the key transitions of life—from puberty and fertility to perimenopause and menopause. By working with these natural patterns in my North East London clinics, I support you in reconnecting with your body and honouring each stage of life with greater awareness and care.

Integrative Care for Hormonal & Menstrual Health

I provide a space where you are truly seen and heard. Intimate health concerns are deeply personal and can affect your identity, relationships, and daily life. My approach is compassionate and integrative, drawing on the strengths of both Five Element Acupuncture and the root-cause philosophy of Functional Medicine.

I have a particular focus on supporting women through:

  • Hormonal & Menstrual Health: Endometriosis, PCOS, PMS, and PMDD.

  • Cycle Regulation: Irregular periods, painful cycles, and amenorrhea.

  • The Menopausal Transition: Managing emotional and physical symptoms of perimenopause and menopause.

  • Fertility & Postnatal Care: Supporting the body through the pre-conception (ART or natural), pregnancy and new motherhood.

My goal is to provide respectful and compassionate care for all. Any mentions of “women” or “female” include all individuals who have a womb or experience conditions traditionally associated with women’s health, regardless of gender identity.
