Whole-Person Healing - ‘Meeting at the Crossroads’
My love of this system is deeply tied to my love of nature and seasonal living. I believe our inner rhythms are microcosms of the greater cycles around us: yin and yang, light and dark, expansion and rest. These natural cycles shape everything from our energy levels to our hormones, mood, sleep, and menstrual cycles.
In my North East London practice, I guide patients to realign with these rhythms. By weaving together the roots of Classical Chinese medicine with the "Alchemical" insights of Lorie Dechar and Carl Jung, we look beyond just "fixing" a symptom. This work supports you in transforming moments of breakdown or uncertainty—times of loss, endings, or the "not knowing"—into moments of space and opportunity. My deepest intention is to walk alongside you, offering a sanctuary to rest, heal, and transform.
What to expect
1. The Initial Consultation
The initial consultation is a chance for us to build a detailed picture of your overall health. We will discuss your lifestyle, medical history, and the specific issues troubling you, as well as your goals for treatment. This is also a space for you to ask any questions you have about the Five Element approach.
Following our conversation, I will carry out a brief physical examination before beginning your first treatment.
Duration: Approx 2 hours
2. Follow-Up Sessions
Each follow-up session begins with a review of how you felt after your previous treatment. Because every individual responds uniquely, this feedback helps me listen to your body’s needs, manage symptoms, and track your progress effectively.
Duration: Approx 1 hour.
3. Ongoing Care
Acupuncture is cumulative. I generally recommend beginning with 4–5 weekly sessions to establish a foundation for healing. Chronic or deeply rooted conditions may require a longer course of care. As your improvements become more consistent and stable, we gradually extend the time between visits to biweekly, monthly, and eventually seasonally.
Many patients continue with seasonal "top-ups" as a form of preventative medicine, supporting long-term resilience and balance.
A note on my clinic locations
